I live with them every day
They are my two daughters
They are oil and water
Not cut from the same cloth
Striving to understand and embrace
Facing off with indignant difference
They are my treasures
Filling my house with music
Fragrance of homemade cookies
Reaching out with grace
Toward trust and faith and the
Possibility of friendship
When they are gone
I will think of them often
With smiles of knowing
i get a poem next.
ReplyDeleteYours is coming soon. I actually wrote it long before I wrote this one.
